yes! trolling for springs between trial, and clover point
we landed a 60lb halibut on a mooching rod with 25 lb line.
we gaffed it and into the boat with a 10lb spring already in the
bucket !
green/glo spoon on the bottom got them both !

we had one shot, and fortunately it was a clean head shot...
the hallie was floppin' in the back of the boat before
it knew what hit it !
