Uh think its off the coast near quatsino really exposed dont quote me on it. Crazy to be out there 70kt hurricane winds and 11 meter sees off the westcoast and north coast of the island.

Holly *&%$ did you guys see on the news that coast guard boat lookin for the surfer off cox bay in that slop yesterday. 47 footer gettin tossed in 20 foot slop. He said it was the ugliest stuff hes been out in the last 30 years.

Solander is a small island off the tip of the Brooks peninsula on the WCVI. It's about 2/3 of the way up the island--look for the brooks sticking out from Vancouver island. Very nasty place when there is any kind of weather system around.The Brooks is a cool place tho--it was missed in the last Ice age and has some unique flora and fauna.
