Fuel Prices 2025

Yes, horse manure and some. Burnaby North last night at 7pm was $1:82 at Chevron, Burnaby South Chevron at 7:30 pm was $1:67.

Supposedly it is because some stations/suppliers have switched to "summer gas"....blah, blah, blah
AND another refinery in California is closing it's doors. Another BS story to jack up prices.
What Carbon Tax???

$1.35 here in NEBC.

Cheers

What just happened? Can someone theorize the jump. All I have is the influx of Venezuelan oil to houston instead of tar sands oil
The SCOTUS cancelled the tarrifs a couple days ago which the global markets and Wall Street translated into more demand for oil. Then the p*ssed off “president of peace” is about to start a big f**king war in the Middle East to distract away from the slowing economy and the “Files” situation at home. That’s enough to push the crude prices up and next you see is super inflated gas prices at the pumps.

The price per barrel has been rising over the last month and even more sharply within the last week. I think a lot of that is due to the US staging to attack Iran which could impact the oil supply significantly. While that hasn't caused the per barrel price to go crazy, the oil companies are always looking at reasons to jack up the prices.

Shell Station Capilano Road North Van

Premium $2.039 /litre last night I used my BCCA and Scene cards and saved 3 cents a litre

Prices were higher earlier in the day

Well it has kicked off in earnest in the middle east. No doubt the fuel already in gas station tanks will miraculously jump in price as a result.

I'm glad my fuel price doesn't change until the utilities commission approves an increase.
