Fuel Prices 2025

100%.. Hard to be thankful to the same party that implemented the tax.
... or built the pipeline to tidewater...

(I can't recall having voted Liberal federally, just pointing out the irony.)

Yup remember who gave you the carbon tax, and who has vowed to retain the industrial carbon tax which they can jack up anytime. BTW, they only reduced the consumer carbon tax to $0, but left the Federal legislation in place so that after the election they can ramp up again. Don't be fooled!

Remember that Transmountain was already there and it was just a capacity upgrade. The reason they had to take it over and build it was that with all the ******** and regulation they imposed, Kinder Morgan was going to shut it down and walk away from the whole thing.

You'd think that upgrading an existing route should be a simple exercise... not in Canada. Where the Feds proceeded to step over themselves to overcomplicate it into going billions over budget on it.

I think we should add more lines on that same route and then bring it out to coal port in Delta. Retrofit that for tanker delivery. Maybe build a refinery out there somewhere too and supply our own fuel to the province. That's a large economic benefit to BC to justify the to those in the province that need it.

I really hate politics talk on this forum and glad see the carbon tax gone. Small businesses needs a break right now with the US situation right now

None of the political parties are supporting us, so I am glad for a little bit of a break. So save the my political party 🥳 says this and that crap.

All I see is unhappy people waiting for free handouts and taxbreaks that small business will pay for. Where do you think your free campaign promises come from lololol.

I will post up some numbers. I think Cedar in Nanaimo is pretty cheap right now.

As in years gone by, this thread was in place to share up to minute prices for fuel throughout the season. The reasons why, taxes, pipelines and other politically driven narratives are not for discussion here. We keep politics out of this forum unless it is fisheries related and in the Conservation section.

Looking forward to 1.55 gas prices, I guess I’ve accepted inflation. Nanaimo looks to be 5c cheaper than Victoria due to the transit tax? Port Hardy and Tofino had pretty good prices too?View attachment 115857
That Super Save also has an automatic 2 cent discount at the pump.
I filled up yesterday at 1.52. , getting closer to where it should be

My fuel remaining steady at 0.112/kWh at home.

Bit different out on the road.

Chevron 0.45-0.55
