Just wondering anyone ever use fresh squid behind a flasher,We tend to have a lot of them to jig.

Haven't baited one up. Have landed several large nook's that have been gorged w/ them in the summer months tho.

Some like it rough...

What size squid are you talking about ?
If you are in the hali area why not use them jammed on to your mud raker under the skirt of the plastic hootchie and this will give off the scent pattern you are alluding to.
