Freezing brined anchovies?

I've had no problem doing so and actually really like the way they roll after bring frozen sometimes. I do a straight dry brine (lots of course pickling salt) and that's it. Given chovies cost around $1/chovy I don't like to waste them after 1 trip.

Bought three packs for Nootka trip two weeks ago. Used about three anchovies. Too cheap to chuck them so I washed the salt off and chucked them in the freezer for my Bamfield trip. Pulled them out a week later. They felt a bit soft. Ran them anyways in Bamfield and they did ok.anchovy picked up our biggest fish of the trip. 24 pounds. Eyes looked milky but fish don't see that with the old red toothpick.

My fish don't like the milky eyed chovies. They only like them fresh.

Kidding.

Seriously though. I dry brine my choves, and any unused ones go back in the freezer (still in the salt bag). Never had an issue. They still fish and still catch.
