Forum Spell Checker ????

In some ways I am a bit of a techno peasant, so please forgive the question if the answer is obvious. I seem to recall that this forum use to have a built in spell checker, perhaps even a grammer checker. I know there has been a number of upgrades to the forum software. So is there still a spell checker built in? If so, how do you access and use it? If it was not built into the forum perhaps it was built into my Browser and for some reason has stopped working.

It looks like the spell checker that use to work for me on the forum was not built into the forum but rather is a browser extension and for some reason stopped working some months ago and I have no idea as to why.

Anyone else noticed all the autocorrected out of place weird words in posts recently? They are worse than misspelling for maintaining clarity.

'Spell Checker Blues'

Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a key and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh.

As soon as a mist ache is maid

And eye can put the error rite
Its rarely ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect in it's weigh
My chequer tolled me sew.

@Rockfish When you misspell a word it should underline in red so you can go back and correct or right click on it to show options of words you may have been trying to type.

Just looking at all the buttons as I type this and it doesn't appear as though there is just one to hit to correct all spelling errors.

Thanks. Yes the red and yellow underline thing is how it used to work before it quit. I was running a lot of security and privacy extensions and had the browsers internal settings set for max security/privacy. The browser maker has also been adding more built-in security and privacy. I have reduced or deactivated some and got the spelling, duplicate word and grammar checker extension working again. I guess now I will up settings and reactivate the extensions one by one until I find the one that was short-circuiting the spell checker.

Spelling is important, but don't forget apostrophes. Those little tiny punctuation marks are all that stands between knowing your s**t and knowing you're s**t.
