Thx !! Very nice to fish off of. Very roomy & dry compared to my two seater Trophy !! Has caught alot of fish last few years. Hopefully add Tuna to my boat pictures in 2014

It's a 24' Boulton Explorer. It is more like 28' with pod & motor . Had custom built by Mike Boulton in Medford Oregon. Could not afford to buy boat like this local !! 50 K less Down south. Pay's to shop !!

I wondered how long it would take you to figure out who I was !!! LoL
Yes we had beer's at Luckdog's . I had a better head start !!! LoL
Was that not New years last year ????
One tends to loose track at the beach ! LoL

Happy New Year Everyone !!
What can I tell you about boat ? It's a 2009 Boulton 24' New Exploer edition Yamaha 350 30" leg with Yamaha 8hp high thrust kicker diesel heater air ride seats sleeps for. Has 2 four foot sleeper bench seats.
I never went with kitchen stuff because we have cabin. Also have dive door & dive ladder 8 tank holders & ton's of room for fish storage . Very roomy in & out. Wife is mad I never had washroom installed.
The $25 Canaidian Tire bucket with seat works fine ! LoL !! Next time. It was a $3000. choice between Diesel heater or washroom at the time & I won. Boat is nice & warm. Just added Radar too Lowrance HDS10
to my boat last year. Top speed around 50-54 mph with 2 people & calm. Cruises nice at 30-35 mph. Can stay on plain at 12mph if really rough out like it can get on west coast
Hope that gives you an out look .

Thanks Sculpin
For me, I think aluminum was the right choice. It is rigged out pretty decent for fishing and family excursions. Got a diesel heater and portapotti so the wife was comfi on long days in the water. Only thing missing is radar, which hopefully will add in 2014.

My crew came up with "Filet Show" on our first staff trip out to the west coast! We were going with "Gong Show" for the first couple days out with them throwing lots of gear and fish away! We got our rythm with the green horns and came up with the new name. Not sure it is a family friendly name.

Tight lines!

Welcome to the nut house Filet Show :). That's a nice boat. Gotta love the alloy's. It looks like she's rigged up pretty sweet too!

The Boulton Explorer is rated for 600 hp if you click on explorer if that's the one your chating about. He has lot's of diffrent styles & options to suit your purpose. Mike Boulton gave me a tour of plant & test ride on similar boat he was just finishing.
Was cool to see everything & they sent pictures of boat when they were building for me. Lots of good pictures on their web sight including my boat. I was the first 350 put on one of his boats.
Would not trade it for nothing. Solid power at any speed !

Wow - very nice looking boats! I've got a 22' Thunderjet, with the pod, that I've put many extra's on. Wish I would have seen these before I purchased mine.

image.jpg. Hi all. New to this forum. This is my trophy 2352. 350 merc MAG. We fish out of Pender harbour pretty much year around. Up till last year we were too embarrassed to say we fished this area. Was awful. This last year was very good for us so now we want to brag. Lol. Looks like a great group in this forum. Lookin forward to swapping stories.
