ridiculous this is what the military should be providing for free

Actually we have to pay for everything the military does. I would guess an hour of military helicopter flying time is 5-10x more expensive than a civilian grade helicopter as military equipment has to be able function in missions and conditions that civilian business can just say its not profitable for ust to be prepared for that type of situation.

That was an amazing read. I just drove Highway 8 in September from Spences Bridge to the Coquihalla..... the description of the Nicola rising a meter in a matter of minutes ........shivers down my spine

In a one hour drive you can see the sobering evidence of those two 2021 events that scarred our province both physically and psychologically. If Highway 8 isn't sufficiently daunting, the empty streets of Lytton certainly are.
