FIX Highway 14 to Port Renfrew

If you have ever towed your boat (or not) to Port Renfrew and been frustrated by the road I'd ask you to sign the petition to get 'er fixed form Jordan River to Port Renfrew.

Good luck, all they do is patch here and there, actually make it worse, for the last 20 years, I only tow 2x a year in the spring and out the fall, sucks both time. Fixing that road would cost big $ and don’t see it happening . Cowichan lake side is getting bad too

Trust me its way more improved ten it was 30 years ago, the sombrio hill clamed many a boat and trans. including mine lol back then it took over 2 hours to tow a boat there. just drive to the condions of the road go slow. I cant see it getting much of a face lift now. bud good luck

Yup seen a few boats in the ditch over the years, also pulled out a few Harley from the ditch . Like you said take it slow and all is good, I’ve only blown out 2 trailer tires over the years, and one was on my there last week

Both of my neighbors in Renfrew live in Victoria. When they bring the boats out, they just take the extra 20mins and go through Lake Cowichan. I haven't done the Sooke run in probably 10 years.

I drove sooke side on Easter weekend. It is pretty bad this year. But I will do it again May long. Me towing travel trailer, wife towing boat. Just go slow. Couple sections you have to crawl. Pull over when you can to let others by and take your time. The good part about the ****** road is it keeps this Island Gem from turning into Tofino.
