fishing today

Constance bank was good today ....
7 fish on total, Kept 10 and 5 lb Springs and
released 4 smaller fish, and lost one
fishing spoons at 140-150'
the bite came on about noon, and lasted about an hour
then went flat.
Water was calm, anybody else get out today ?

Finally got out to test drive the FibreForm..going to buy it as soon as I get the survey done. Got a little lumpy out around Chemainus. and have you ever seen so much **** in the water.

We got out Sooke way, and I finally bumped my 2 week slump.
We kept 3 fish (5,6,9lbs) released 10ish small ones, and lost 3 nice fish.
ANchovy and Hootchie were hot for us, spoons wouldn't catch fish today.
Fish caught between 9 and 1 but the bite really came on at tide change.
Hopefully it's a sign of what's to come for the rest of the year.

no problems with seals out sooke way ?
i did not have do deal with the varmints today
for a change...

I havn't had seal problems out Sooke way all year. Had 1 run in with a Sea Lion in September, but that was it.
I guess I'm just lucky (Knocks on wood).
It was an absolute perfect day out fishing weather wise!
