Fishing off the Big Qualicum???

Has anyone heard how the fishing has been off the Big Q?

Lots have looked at the post but none replied. I'm going to give it a try tomorrow morning (light winds forecast). I'll let you know if there's anything around.

It's worth a look, not stellar, but worth a look none the less.

I heard a big one was picked up off the Big Q yesterday. I'll drop in at deep bay and give it a try if it's no good I can head back to Hornby.

The kids were fly fishing pinks in the Courtenay Estuary and said they saw a number of silver springs in the estuary section of the river. Might be a few fish off the can buoy #54 right now

I like your tag "Kildonan" have you been there in Alberni Inlet? My grand mother came out from Scotland in the 30's to work the cannery there.

I grew up in Alberni. My family had a float home near Kildonan for many years from the mid 1960's until the mid 80's. It was an awesome place full of many great memories, hence the handle.
