Cruising the BC coast and into the Dean Channel

I'm planning to cruise into the Dean Channel next summer and do some fishing in the Dean River. Has anyone anchored in the area of the Dean River, Kimsquit, or Manitou Creek?

I'll gladly keep you posted. Just heard from someone that there is good anchoring at the mouth of Manitou Creek, across from the Dean, which would be an option. But looking at the Navionics fishing chart, there are some wide, relatively long shelves across the mouth of the Dean which look promising. Looking forward to try it out.
