Fishing Nanaimo/Chemanius/Ducan for winter springs

I was just wondering, I am heading back up to Chemanius tommorow for the long weekend and I was just wondering if anybody had any success in this area. Last week I was fishing around cooper island and tent island and never even had a strick.
