Fishing has been hard on the carpet.

Hi everyone!
My boat has a carpet floor from bow to stern. As you can imagine, even with the few fish I catch it is getting pretty ugly.I am looking at pulling it all out this winter. I have been considering coating it with some kind of truck box liner("Rino Liner" or something of that nature.)I think a complete fiber and gel job would be way more than it is worth? What if anything have any of you used or seen used. Thinking of a do it my-self type of application.
Thanks for any info or feedback.

Cheers: Ray

Not sure if ya live on the Rock or here in Van , A good friend owns Burnaby Hitch over here , he does a spray on liner , Linex , this stuff is tuff , typically this in black , but different colors can be done , i have seen white and gray,

I sprayed my welded aluminum interior with a custom gray and black ,
Love it

Thanks for that Felix.
I am here on the rock (Comox) Dose the Linex stay soft or get hard and brittle? Looking for something that stays a little on the rubbery side.

Give that a try. Did my boat with it and love it. Variety of colors. Easy to apply, you can eat it if you have to, it's non-toxic. Bout $100 in the States at Fisheries Supply. Can call the guy in Seattle if you want. I simply washed my floor with BonAmi (cheap powder cleaner) let it dry, smeared it on and rollered over it to create the texture. Did a light coat and had to re-apply because I didn't slather it on enough. One gallon can did my 18ft Glasply.

Can anyone recommend a decent quality pedestal seat that will not put me in the poor house? While I am redoing the floor I thought I might get rid of the front and back facing seats and go with 2 pedestal seats to add a little more fishing room.

Solution so you don't drill into the floor

Scroll down until you see the fiberglassed plywood block. This is my stolen solution to the back to back seats and I will be doing it this spring to get more room in the glasply so I can come up north and catch some fish because we don't seem to have any down south in Washington.

Read it wrong. How bout building a box, glass the bottom portions and mount a seat to the top?
