Derby - awesome info; thanks. Whatever fish we were catching at Wya point in the late 80's - early 90's I'd like to see some of those fish come back. Too bad DFO had the limit at 4 back then. The cleaning station at Bayshore (Island West now) was lined with slabs. Saw one at 55lb being cleaned that was sexually immature.

Ya that was a special time that a few of us got to fish....kind a like the days of glory steeelheading.. the days of a dozen those fish where a lot of Ninimint & Alberni fish
.. the days of the rebar run... upper stamp...now there was a show
