fish are sentient and feel pain

There are a ton of stories about the amounts of rodents and small animals that get harmed when cropping fields. Or deforestation to fill the needs of this vegan culture. The straight should publish some.

Have you seen how KW show their young how to hunt.
Yes and Hyenas .... do NOT kill their pray.... they eat it alive........... I would think that hurts a bit NO !!!

In the meantime, better eat some mega processed pea protein tarted up to look like meat. And hope peas aren't found to be sentient soon.

But are you OK with repeat customers???

Some days they're the only kind I get - I was jigging a spot one day and I'm convinced I caught the same undersized ling about eight times.

Plus rockies get a 2-for-1 deal! One piercing on the way up, one for the return trip.

Actually you know to speak seriously about the idea of sentience and pain, the complete lack of reaction from fish when putting in a descending hook kind of says it all to me. The could well be sentient, that I couldn't say. But what does it say about their experience of pain? Probably nothing. Octopuses are about as smart and aware as anything in the ocean and they do stuff like tear off their own arms. I have a pain threshold high enough that several different doctors have commented on it...but I'm ripping off my arm, forget it.

This is just an intuition I have but I suspect that any animal that breeds by releasing a zillion babies into the wild and having a handful survive, will have an experience of pain that's not much like ours.
