Good Luck Wolf

Sounds like it was fun day even with only 2 fish! Ide rather be sittingon the water than sitting on the lawn mower any thoughts about setting one up for salmon this summer

To fish or not to fish,
What a stupid question!
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish, and he will sit on a boat drinking beer for a life time :D

Need to discuss this with Roy and others but I am thinking this would definatley be a great idea. You must have read my mind was just thinking about that this morning. I know that I would bring MyEscape and it would be great to be up against many anglers with lots of expierence fishing for salmon. I also hope that many of the group make it up to the Chum Derby in October.

Cheers ME

Wolf, My Escape
Thanks for putting together a good couple of days!!

Iron Noggin, How's your noggin?

A summer meet-and-greet derby? I'm in.

Just a thought: folks would need to plan ahead so a date for such an event would need to be selected sooner rather than later.

Remember, it's called "fishing," not "catching."

Ill be able to make it if its in renfrew in august :P (i dont have a trailer :( )

Gonna take more than a single day to recover from THAT much FUN!!

BIG TIME THANKS to Wolf for gaciously taking me, Kev & George aboard for this one! I truely had a GREAT day out there, and you made that all possible! Hope to return the favour aboard the Dream Weaver in the not to distant future...
Very MUCH Appreciated!!

Also thanks to MyEscape and the organizers/prize contributors. This was indeed one of the better fishing parties I've attended, well thought out and presented! Kudos Gentz!!

To the rest that were there, T'was a BLAST! Nice to meet so many and put faces to names (even though I still honestly can't recall meeting the Infamous Bags ) Dunno if I'll be able to wiggle out of work (fishin' that is) for a salmon go, but will indeed try... Great Crew to play with, and right looking forward to the next!!

Cheers,
Nog

Nogg, I think i have a picture on my cell phone of Bags wearing your hat and me and Vinnie in the background with the lovely waitress at the Red Lion. the Classic event was when ME was on the Squauk Box and we could here nog in the back ground yelling!!!I almost fell over the side when i heard that. DOOEY GOONED

That was a classic event to get Bags out! Wolf saw him too as proof!
Good times for sure, I have not done an all nighter and then fished all day without a wink in a few years now! Why does my head hurt ????

Thanks again too all the Guys who set it all up. Where did all the Hali go? None again today for us either 0/2? Tips and Tailout musta stung em all. New Wesking Gaff works good for shakin Doggies Eh Wolf!!!

Kudos' to everyone that participated in this event. GOOD JOB!!!

Congrats Geoff, aka Capt. Dudds.
I'm sorry that, as for now, you can only dream about that fish'n stick. I'll see if I can't get that rectified ASAP. It should be on it's way today. Tomorrow at the latest.

I'll e-mail/post you the details as they come in.

Some like it rough...
Others just puke!

Mr. Dean

And to add my two cents, I'd also like to thank Wolf and My Escape for organizing this event. Although I am reasonably new to this site, I wanted to come down and meet a few of the local guys and put a few faces to names. That was certainly taken care of and maybe we'll all get to fish together again soon. Thanks to all that provided prizes for this event too, I'm sure that the get out of jail free card will come in handy on one of these fishing excurions in the future.

As most of the folks that turned out know, I didn't have a ride when I showed up to the meet and greet Friday night. I would especially like to thank Roy aka Wolf for his generous offer of the one empty seat on his craft. Roy, thank-you. Also, I'd like to thank all you members that came and offered their apologies for having a full boat and not being able to fit me in, that was understood and appreciated more than you probably realize. Another time, another place.

Anyways, tight lines to all and you can certainly count me in to any future events that we might want to organize, including the Salmon action as previously noted. I may be able to help with organization duties with this once decided on the way ahead.

Thanks all,
George

Seafood, eat it, then catch more.

Oops, and thanks to Jim (Kildonen) for organizing the Legion and hotels.
