That's not dorky at all. I'm going to add it to my theme song list for sure. Great stuff Scott. I have a lot of movie and televison theme songs now on my ipod. There is a ton of new stuff for the Sculpin this year. I am trying to freak people out lol.

If you want some free audio just google you tube converter to MP3. It is totally free. Just pick the best quality of stuff and you can get some good audio files. The commercials are not recorded. Just the good stuff. I converted around 60 song's lately and only about two of them are crap. That was my doing though by picking the best videos. I have an ipod and I just download them to my hard drive them transfer them over to my itunes etc. Easy. Damn you have to love teenaged kids. LOL.

a side note.... recorded in 1970, the band consists of two Victoria boys, Reid Hudson and James Black. Drummer is Tony Newman, who also played with Jeff Beck, David Bowie, Sounds Incorporated (the band that opened for the Beatles at Shea Stadium) etc., etc.,

I still chuckle that THIS thread of music.......brought IFL and I together and we had an awesome weekend fishing out of Nootka. Tunes cranked.....12 miles out on the "highway" and having a blast! One of my best days on the water......the water was liquid lead.....and we were slayin the fish.....tunes cranked....sunshine.......and the Coast Guard was looking for a Tamil boat. Although we were in the sun there was a fog bank to the south of us and we had cow bells going....you name it; good times. Out of the fog came a fishing boat that was looking at us like we were complete idiots (I'll give them that) and they trolled by us asking questions and WTF we were doing.

We politely explained...."we were having fun and the cowbell came out everytime there was a hit". As we are explaining, the guys rod "behind" them was POUNDING and I hit the cowbell hard....and they looked blankly at me as I yelled at them "DUDE!!!! FISH ON!!!" It took them about 30 seconds to tune in.

BUT.....music is memories.....and I remember some of the songs out there with Dave (IFL) with such fondness; I hear a tune and it takes me right out there.

Like this one.........we were having a blast and I have always loved this song (for the past 25 years) but now it reminds me of that day. We listened to everything out there from rap, to hip hop to old school rock.....I even busted out Roger Whitaker but it was a day I will never forget. I just remember this song blasting out and rods pounding away.
