Engine problems

Sold my boat to my buddy he just had the engine tuned and carbs cleaned a couple days ago. He took it out today everything was great but afterwards he had burnt(black) oil leaking from the prop.I told him to check the leg oil and it was fine no bad smell or discoloring. Could it be excess oil burning off somehow or crap being burned off? It was not from the exhaust vent. He trolled maybe 5 hours on it. Its a 30hp oil Inj yamaha

I'd say business as usual idling an none DI two stroke for that long.

used to happen with my old 2 stroke merc, it's unburnt 2 stroke oil
leaking out of the through hub exhaust.
Too much idling, give her a burn and it'll stop.

Heres the engine when the unburned oil mixes with the exhaust from idiling. Its kind of brown here like normal oil. Whats happening now is pitch black oil is leaking from below the prop. Ill ask him to send a picture on the comp he sent me one on the phone

Problem solved. When the carb got cleaned out the junk had to be expelled through the exhaust. He said the black stuff didnt smell bad so i guess it wasnt burnt oil. Still unsure why it came out below the prop and not above like the pic. Oh well mechanic said it was fine itll take a while to clear it out.
