An earthquake struck near Vancouver on Saturday night.
According to Earthquakes Canada, it was a 3.6 magnitude quake, striking 26 kilometres northwest of Sechelt.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, it happened at 8:12 p.m., 10 kilometres below the surface.
There are no reports of any damage so far, but many people in Squamish, the Sunshine Coast and the Lower Mainland have said the felt the earthquake as it was happening.
Earthquakes Canada says “There are no reports of damage, and none would be expected.”
