dsc and mmsi - help?

Did you figure it out?
It could be the NMEA 0183 vs NMEA 2000 setting is not correct? ....among other things
No, wasn't a setting issue, everything seemed to be right. So contacted the dealer, they've thought it over, we did some remote troubleshooting, and they have asked me to bring it in. Thinking that this radio isn't really designed for that (even though it seems to be per the manual.) Upgrade coming my way, no cost.

The function I refer to is enabled and displayed on a chartplotter when linked to a chartplotter that is dsc capable and linked via nmea 2000 to the DSC vhf.
I'll find it in the manual if i have a chance.
My Garmin chartplotter will show the GPS position and MMSI if a DSC call is sent. But voice calls (i.e. calls on all channels except for channel 70 DSC calls) don’t show up. AIS (I have a receiver) is altogether different as it transmits automatically on intervals, allowing for other vessels to track the position and see all kinds of information about the transmitti vessel, including MMSI number.
