Drone Video- Indian Arm

great vid!! thanks for sharing it!! amazing place to enjoy!!~ cool perspective with the drone!!

but, nothing bothers me more through the years of enjoying the falls is a boater with a bigger boat than is allowed on that dock and more so when they park on the front side which is supposed to be drop and pick up only. sorry man, i have had to pull up on a boat with bumps out to pick up my family only to be yelled at by a fancy glass arsehole.. yours i would have no problem rafting up to.

Some skilled flying there! I'm bringing my Phantom 4 Pro to the coast this summer. Nervous as hell around water with it...thanks for the video.
Thank you and it's my pleasure Waterwolf2230. Practice lot's with it before doing the water stuff :) And make sure all your sensors are on for the bottom and front of the drone. They will keep the drone above the water and just keep an eye on your battery life. I have mine set to beep at me at 23% left on the battery so I can get it back to me in time before the battery dies and pop another one in.

I think there are some companies that have made floats for the Phantom too that could be benificial with your water flying. I just bought some for my Mavic and also picked up a locator device to attach to it in case I lose it in a non GPS accessed area.

These drones are unreal with video quality these days. They can also be packed up very small and carried up mountains.

Here is a video by son took from the summit of Locomotive Mountain in Pemberton this week-end. Same issue regarding watching battery though or you can lose these things irretrievably ion this terrain!!

Does the Mavic not have the 'Home Point' feature? My Phantom 4 Pro creates a home point and will disable the sticks if the battery gets too low and it returns via GPS to the exact spot...still scares me when the battery gets low lol.

Yes it has the home point feature. When you take off you hover for a couple seconds and a voice message and text on the screen tells you the home point has been marked and saved. When the battery runs to a low point you can just hit the go home feature and it returns on the most direct path and avoids obstacles on the way. Ya it freaks me out when the low battery warning beeps go off lol. I try to watch the battery power and get the drone closer to me before that happens but sometimes I get really into the flying and don't notice till the alarm goes off.

I had the drone in the Coquihalla canyon the other day, taping down in the canyon on the river and man it was windy in there from the river movement and just the wind moving through the mountains. Blew the drone around a lot and very close to the canyon walls. Freaky. Didn't fly it for too long in there needless to say.
