I fish all my hootchies with a blue spin and glo in front of them. Seems to work for me. This seems to be along the same lines except might be a much more violent action. Would want to see one running in the water at trolling speeds before making a call. Might work well on putting a bit more action on the hootchie when fishing deep and having to go slow due to current....

looks like a perfect fit for in front of a pink squirt for sockeye and pinks without a flasher. Just a run a dummy flasher and something like that and you might actually feel a bit of a tug from the little guys.
