Creel surveys..do you participate or not?

I have never participated because I was told that info was used against 'us' sportfishermen..ie hali limits cut back etc..so what does the majority think?

Head samples dropped off, no.

I would rather see some accuracy and reliability in their data and so try to contribute what I can - creel survey info and heads.

we volunteers that work hard to put fish out for you to catch ,rely on all heads turned in so we know if we are getting are marked heads back ,as the goldstream hatchery has a battle to get any money from dfo to pin the heads as they cost about 35cents a piece,if we quit turning in the heads they will do area closures as they know the stocks are out there,as i do the head returns for esq anglers/otter pt trailerpark!ost are american stocks about 70%percent so when we are freezing our balls in local rivers trying to get brood stock back remember us or join us if you want to keep fishing,as the last few years we have brought coho from 2 pairs up to 1500 which normly has over 40% marked telling us we are doing something rite out there !
