Chinook Salmon Secrets

Not exactly a secret: go bug or go home, to catch them lunkers you need to be flying those big plugs and spoons (6inch.)
I'm not a sooker but what I do know, a slower roll on 'chovie, not to much flash as it scares them.

Anchovy with very slow roll deep on tide changes-learned from 41 ft yacht owner who fished Sooke regularly as my first trip in 1993 with #23 columbian spring. I have fished up north with spoons, plugs, and hootchies, had a good share of big springs before. Not much with anchovies. Anchovy is a must in Sooke, bought up several more springs. jiggin' is my good choice as well!
