Chantrelle Mushroom buyer??????

Hi guys thought id ask people on here if they know of anyone/body that is buying chantrelle mushrooms as the guy I used to do cant seem to track down looking victoria.duncan area.
As it seems going to be a good harvest for them and want to track down a buyer...

They are listing them for sale not to buy. I just think it a great way to make more money from the harvest. Just search Chantrelle or mushroom on Craigslist. There are two guys on the Comox Valley Craigslist right now selling.

Hey wolf. I'll give you my buyers name and number. It's Mike at 250-749-3877. He's in Lake Cowichan. Really fair guy
to deal with. I've met quite a few shisters over the years. He's the closest buyer I know of for me here in Duncan.
Gonna head out to my spots here this week.Already seen a few poking up in my travels,so I think this should be a good year.

Close there wolf. His last name is Scholey. Good guy. The last I talked to him,his price was $2.50 lb. ,but said that it
would probably drop soon as the season progresses. Get out there and get em!!

Interesting, i heard it was $4.00 in haida gwaii a few days ago...I always thought price was lower on gwaii cause of shipping cost

Ran across this add last week. No idea what the prices are .Way to tasty and get a lot better in karma to give away than sell for $2.50 a lb.

Iv been mushroom picking in Skutz Falls area and the mushroom buyer there is selling for 1.50/pound ( fluctuates ) but only takes newer mushrooms with good integrity, he's pritty picky but at least you can make a bit of money.
I found him on Used Cowichan, I copied and pasted his add for you "Mushroom buyer taking quality chanterelles, pine and other edible mushrooms at 7995 Greendale Road, Lake Cowichan open around 3pm daily." If you find the add you can email him. Hope this helps. I've been looking for someone in Duncan shawnigan area if you hear of anyone let me know .thanks

yeah for that price ill keep them funny how you see them in the markets going for 18.99 lb up to 23 a lb apparently screw the guy who picks them thats a HUGE mark up

Hey noreenw1. That's the guy I usually sell to,and as far as I know is the closest buyer to Duncan area. He was
paying $2.50 lb. 3 weeks ago when I last was there,but I guess the market is saturated now,being a very good year
for them. And wolf is right about the huge markup. Someone is making a pile of money on these things,and it sure as
hell ain't us!!

A buddy of mine told me he took some fresh chanterelles he picked direct to a restaurant and traded them for a nice dinner for him and his wife.

Lat weekend , a picker was selling chantrelle and lobster mushrooms for $10/lb at the Comox farmers market. he was doing a brisk business.

I was able to buy chanterelles for $5/lb in a grocery store down here recently. Nice quality too. So the market must be saturated.
