Been a pet peeve of mine for years. If it's not a game between two national teams, no anthems should be played. And even then, anthem played only for winning team.

As a compromise, could we at least get rid of the singers and just play the music? If the loud and proud patriots as good as the game they talk, they'll fill in. And FFS no parading around military like it's a forces recruiting day, or an NFL match. These are the times when countries suck.

Petterssons on the back end quiet and unnoticeable, often a nice thing from solid reliable D men.
