Canucks 2024/25

I've heard this argument over and over but I completely disagree. These guys have been surrounded by enablers their entire lives. They've been pampered and pumped up ever since someone saw some potential in them. These are not well rounded, stable and mature humans. They're childish, frat boy primadonnas. The ones that aren't, are the exception.
Lots of the pros are pretty normal dudes, in my experience........which is not with any of the current guys.

The signing of professional players to long term contracts usually come with psychological testing , would love to know if this was done with either of these guys..
If i was spending almost 100 million to sign a player you'd bet I'd be doing it.

Canucks are now caught between a rock and hard place to trade either of these 2 players, meaning they will have to dump them to make any deal
I'd get rid of both, who can guarantee this won't happen again with either player if one stays when issues come again, and they will come again..

Should be a drink when they say “is it possible that”
Would not make it through a show before on the floor
Oh man…and here i thought i was the only lunatic still watching Oak Island. the show is sooo bad but like a car accident i can’t turn away! They will dedicate an entire episode to a pile of rocks, or a piece of wood. Imagine eating wings and beers with Billy Gerhardt, or imagine the carnage when he visits the porta potty in the morning?

i’m sure some of these guys don’t believe in one thing they are doing there…but the cheques keep rolling in so they drag their carcasses to work everyday.

Forget the money pit. i think the structure in the swamp is an old whaling station. they drag the dead whales up the paved road and the blubber is being rendered in that other stone structure up the hill. all the oxen shoes they keep finding along that road are from the oxen dragging blubber to the rendering plant.

anyways to not be blamed for a derail, its still more entertaining than most canucks games this year

Pedi sucks and needs some balls
Time will tell but looks awfully similar to the Horvat trade. It does open up some trade flexibility along with additional cap space. Personally in my opinion trade Bambi as well to Columbus and be done with all this drama to next time. I do think Hughes should have an opinion in what transpires next as we can’t possibly let this phenomenal player walk.

Looks similar indeed. If they can take that 1st rounder and turn it into a talented roster player like Hronek before the trade deadline, this Miller trade will look a whole lot better.

Crazy day, the Canucks sure got bigger but 2 upcoming UFA’s this year for a NY 1st is questionable if they don’t get Pettersson resigned. I would assume at this point that discussion has already taken place. Heinen and Desharnais were soft as butter and watching Garland getting manhandled tonight I hope some team toughness has been addressed.

I just hope Miller does well and the Rangers get it turned around, otherwise that 1st is going to be a top ten lottery pick in a good draft year. Pretty risky gamble for two guys on expiring contracts. Seen this movie before.

I totally agree. I’m done with 40. You’ll never win in the playoff’s with him

As much as I would like to see the Canucks have another run at the cup, I just don't see their chances.
In the past 30 years, they've had only a couple decent opportunities.
I'm not a hockey expert but my opinion is the team needs to be sold and rebuilt from the top down.
New owners, new management, new coaching staff etc.
New blood might get the fire started again.
