Have you dealt with this company before?

I checked out their website - looks like some nice spoons etc. But I have a problem with them in that they do not list any physical address - only an email address.

They are probably a good company, but it worries me when I can not track them down to an address where I can direct regular mail or walk into should the need arise.

If you check my website, you will notice that there are phone numbers, and my address. If you can't find me, you just aren't looking.

I understand your concern and No Jim I haven't bought anything from them yet but they come highly recommended on a site from Ontario that I lurk on regularly.

I have dealt with http://www.auroralitestackle.com from Ohio for Spoons and am more than Happy with the service/shipping time and goods rec'd.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to clarify a few things and tell you a bit about us.

Our company is SpoonMaster located in Ontario. It is run by myself, Deanna and my husband Alan. We opened last summer and business has been busy lately with the start of the 2008 season.

The reason why do not have a physical address on our site is because this is a business located in our home. To allow customers to pick-up an order would require us to purchase very expensive liability insurance, thus raising our prices.

We prefer to be contacted by email for the fact that it works easier for our family. Since we advertise on the web and get hits from all over the world, our phone would ring at some odd hours and wake up the little ones.

On our home page at www.fishing-lures.ca you can sign-up for our newsletter and be informed about new stock, sales ect.

All orders going out obviously have our return address on the box and invoice should a return be required. We can be e-mailed at spoonmasterlures@yahoo.ca if anyone has any further questions and we will get back to you promptly.

Best of luck in the 2008 season,

Deanna and Alan

Spoonmaster:

Thanks for taking the time to post here.

Having run several home based businesses myself, I understand your concerns. However, when the only contact is by email and website, it makes it difficult for a customer to get hold of you when they have a problem.

Perhaps you should consider a Post Office box or something to establish a physical location. It goes a long way to peace of mind for a potential customer who is about to send off some hard earned cash for a product he wants.

Looks like you have some good products. I hope that you are successful in building your business.
