With the increase in effort can our streams, rivers and inshore grounds support the level of harvest that is occuring on our coast? I am curious of others opinions on this as we are finding it more difficult to catch a salmon, a lingcod or a rockfish. I fish salmon mostly in the lower straits and disreguarding the boomer sockeye season last year have noticed a definite reduction in the amount of springs available.
