Campbell River Motels

With the border open we'll be headed back to Esperanza for a trip with Port Eliza. In the past we spent a night in Campbell River at the River Inn Motel, but I understand it has been sold and is no longer a motel. Can anyone recommend other places there, don't need to be fancy.

I stay in CR overnight every two weeks or so year round - usually at the Coast Discovery. If you're pulling a boat, there's lot of parking.

Last time I stayed at the Above Tide-odd name but it was OK good views of the ocean even it was a little like sleeping in a basement.

My buddies have stayed at the Big Rock Motel on the way to their west coast trips.
They are a nothing fancy, but still have some standards, crew.

nice part about that hotel is you can keep a good eye on your boat. there is a liquor store next door but it’s a pretty decent area with lots of traffic

Right across the road from a boat launch too. You can see what fishing is like locally.
