Cabo 2012 fishing trip

It was a little slow. But not the best season, we were down in March a couple of years ago, had a blast with Blackfin but no billfish

I'm mostly interested in Yellowfins. I want a cow (200 lbs plus) before i die. Did you get any then or was it the wrong time?

They were catching the big tuna late sept early oct out of Los Barriles (east Cape) this year! I saw a 275 and a couple of 200 plus's. Most were off the Gordo Banks and I saw lots of guide boats going by my house with tuna pennants up. They may have been schoolie yellow fin-don't know.

Thanks Sculpin...great post. We are heading down to Cabo on New Years Eve for a week and are hoping to go fishing for a day or two. Any suggestions that you heard down there on any other charter boat companies that we should look into?

I did try some sashimi style the other night and fishtofino was bang on. It is better than the albacore.

Ah those iPhone guys.........I tell ya. Those phones do everything except take good pictures.

I try anyways lol. It's a Canon G10. I plan on taking a digital photography course to get better at it.
