most every place that takes reservations has a cancelation policy take the bc ferries they have a wait and if your not there then you still lose your spot and the fee. suck it up buttercup. that is the price for having a reservation

A few friends fished today for 5 hours. They are good fisherman, one boat caught 2 the other caught 4. So there are a couple of fish out there.

1st day is in the books. Our boat didn't come close to some of the catches we saw in the weigh in. Hopefully tomorrow we'll do better. We spent the whole day in deepwater until around 12 and then we fished southeast of seperation head,all in all it was uberslow.
Did see Island Fish Lifter and said Hi though, and I think I saw Halilogger, but I wasn't sure.

What time is final weigh in on Sunday? I didn't think I could make it but might try tomorrow. I just need to find some tickets. Any word if any are left at marina???

Yep that was me Heavye, saw IFL as well looks like you had a few pops Dave.
Started great hit a 10 pounder in the first 10 minutes was dry for the next 5 hours then hit a triple header and had 2 of them sawed off F$#k, ended up with 3 in the box. slowwwwwwwwwwwww
Water, weather, company, and the pops were all good though.

The fireball was going down sweetly! Had a blast as always, only got the one fish. We fished first light till around 2:00. Was sloow.. Tied a good one on though, good thing we had a sober person on board(not me)[xx(] Didnt make it out Sunday though. A little too snotty to fish hung over. Bringing the boat home this week, had enough for one season.

Yep we decided not to fish today, doesn't sound like we missed much. Total fish caught over 2 days in the derby 113 OUCH||!!!!! 100 plus boats over 250 entries.
Congrats to Duffer........ winning boat biggest fish 16 & a quarter pounds and high aggregate.
