Hi GLG. Fished out of Browns Bay yesterday.Started off at the wall outside the marina at first light and then proceeded to fish a half dozen spots up Seymour narrows that I know at various times hold springs.Other than a few feeder springs and lings which we released things were alarmingly quiet.Tough slugging to say the least! After reading r.c cravens "to bonk,or not to bonk" there isn"t a greater time to practice good conservation{It dosn"t mean a guy can"t bonk a fish for a meal on a fishing trip.}I let my son do all the reeling and aided in the releasing and the smiles on his face said it all! We had a great day on the water none the less!
I was up fishing Sep head yesterday. Hooked a small pink and what looked like a small spring until he jumped and spit the hook. Other than that it was pretty quiet.
