Boat Insurance

Have just ordered a Hewescraft Searunner and will be dragging it up from Washington in April.
Anybody got any tips as to which company is the best to insure it with.
I am a bit wary of doing it through our house insurance broker as they had only one company and may (may be not) be biased.
Thanks

I use Coast Capital Savings Insurance.

They have a marine insurance underwriter outfit.

I was paying about $60/mo for my Zeta 19 and trailer.

Included (non-declining payout): hull/machinery/trailer about $25/k.
(this covers loss/replacement for collision etc)

$2/million - waterskiing liability coverage.

There were no limitations on where I could use the boat.

Check with Rainbow Insurance on Burrard just north of Broadway & across the street from the Esso station - parking in the back.

Ask for Brian Gregory, he has been real good to me over the years for all kinds of insurance, including boat & charter.
