Black Box ?

It is part of the fun playing with all the gadgets. Boys and there toys thing. We could all go back to rowing out there in a 10 foot boat and mooching with herring. It does kind of should like fun but I don't think I could give up my GPS,radar, Sonar, and underwater camera. Or my high speed reels with high tech line at thin at thread and strong as steel. I do still have some of those wooden nuckle busters maybe I'll break them out this weekend. Who am I kidding.

We head out to Barkley Sound for a week every August. Not much fun if you limit out on day 2 or 3. On days 1-5 we keep everything over 25 lbs and bleeders. On days 6-7 we drop it to 20 lbs and bleeders. We use smaller hooks and play fish relatively quickly to minimize mortality.

The biggest fish that I've released is probably about 24 lbs...
