Not sure I am looking at it rite.I was looking for forecast for Barkley sound bamfield. Is there a closer report than Long beach? Or is that the one you all use for this area?

Look at Long Beach and Jordan River on BWD.

Look at Weather Office forcast. Take a look at your map of Vancouver Island and do the math...

Then roll your magic dice, kiss your lucky doll and do a little dance before you leave. This in no way guarantees any result of course!

But yea. What I said above.

We will be out on Friday the 4th to sunday. tides look good for then.I am bringing a couple nephews from the interior. they seen my pics from our trip last month and well you know what happened next.the one has never been on the ocean in a pleasure boat. gravel is in the box LOl.

Go to marina weather, juan de fuca west entrance, should get you pretty close as it starts at nitnat.

You could also take a look at laperous bank wave heights and wind.

thanks guys. I usually use laperouse was wondering about big wave dace as i hear you all talking about how accurate his for casting is.

Over the years I have found his wind forecasts more accurate then the Fed. weather report. The Feds seem to be a bit over estimating and cautious on there wind speeds and duration IMHO.
