Big and Little Qualicum Rivers

[Still Learnin]

Has any one heard if the fishing,outside of the closed areas, around the Qualicum rivers has heated up yet? And if so I would appreciate some information on what they are biting on?

The fishing is great off both rivers. You want to shoot for the early morning tide or the evening flood tides. The tides get much better for fishing starting again on Monday. The fish are anywhere from 15-40 feet down and they seem to like all types of sockeye gear! Hope this helps, if you see me out there give me a holler on channel 69 and I'll try to help.
