Well those are afew shots from this past year out on the salt.
Hey here is an interesting shot from back in the day. It's a guest caught chinook from up at Langara. What a hog hey. Yeah yeah, I can hear you guys now; and trust me from then on almost all my fish go back unharmed. Just a select few make it to my dinner table :)

HL that is a thing of beauty...looks like someone needs to go to the Power Squadron course and learn how to navigate using channel markers. That flat area by the pulp mill sure looks deep at high tide, but there is a really good reason why they marked the river channel. Not to worry he's in good company. I see at least 3 or 4 guys a year make the same move, but not always with the same result. :D
 
Sorry Klob, forgot to identify the spot....mouth of the Somas River in Port Alberni near by my home port Clutesi Haven Marina.
 
Thanks Highliner, and yep, that's where it is alrighty.

I almost followed him right on in despite navigating that countless times. Luckily it is very muddy. No damage and with the rising tide and a thrown rope I was able to pull him off.

Downtime was about 30 minutes.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, it was his maiden voyage with that boat. One to remember, or maybe forget.
