Best EVA Foam Boat Decking

Nice ya all I want is coverage dont care about any graphics. Once I get the boat back ill get on it, I don't think ill cut off too many fingers doing the pod only...

Key for me was clean aluminum and a very small bead of Sikaflex at edges I was concerned about it lifting.

This is the product I used (see Amazon link below). I didn’t do outside deck just inside cabin and shelves. Good price and easy product to work with. Not sure if it’s the best but I’m happy with it so far. I used two sheets.

I put down inexpensive Amazon Eva 5 years ago when my boat was new. Cost was about 200 bucks for materials. I used permatex spray adhesive in addition to the adhesive on the product itself and I have had zero lifting. I did a bead of sealant on the edge of some of it to prevent lifting and some without, and it made no difference, none of it has lifted. It's starting to look a bit chewed up, from traps, dropped knives, gaffs, flailing tuna with hooks in their mouth etc. but definitely not in need of replacement yet. 7000 for the custom cut product is highway robbery.

I was quoted $7000 for my 2470... No way in hell would I pay that for some flooring.

For any of you that did either Seadeck or Ultradeck... did you get quotes for both and was there a substantial difference between the two in terms of cost?

I know a friend is getting his new kingfisher with ultra deck. Lots of graphics and coverage in cabin, deck, swim grid, gunnels
I almost choked when he said $10k. It will look awesome but for 10k not a chance.

i got 4 rolls of $160 generic chinese eva from fleabay. enough to do my whole kingfisher (1825). still working 6 years later with no tears or rips. i think i did replace one chunk because it got too mossy but the rest of it is fine. just cut giant square pieces (4ft x 4ft) with crab scissors and stuck it with the 3M industrial adhesive spray.
this stuff - https://www.amazon.ca/OCEANBROAD-Se...ive-Non-Slip/dp/B0BR9WQ9ML?crid=2ELAAVEGZ1UO7
or similar. tons of generic chinese brands.
you can get it laser cut too if you dont want to play with scissors. but that will involve lots of detailed measurements. most of the cost is in the measurements and labour not materials or time to fix it. i did it over a weekend easy.
