I did Ultradeck about 3 seasons ago. Still looks fantastic. Fit and finish is perfect. Stains just wash off. And if you want it this season better contact them now to get the template done. It takes a bit to get them onsite and get the product installed.Hey guys,
Going to do some of the Ultradeck style foam decking for the boat this spring, and I'm curious what everyones favorite brand is, as there are quite a few people who do it now (Ultradeck, Seadek, GatorStep, etc.) Any experience is helpful. Thanks.

Ok thanks for the heads up I’ll get in contact. Good to hear it’s holding up.I did Ultradeck about 3 seasons ago. Still looks fantastic. Fit and finish is perfect. Stains just wash off. Unfortunately I’m doubtful that they’ve done a 24 monaro before but never know. Thanks for the info.If they’ve done your exact boat model already, they will have a template. I was fortunate that Ultradeck was near both Campion and Kingfisher so they had a template for my 682 and I just added the custom rulers on the gunwale tops. I also had a local boat repair guy I trusted do the install and Ultradeck just shipped the product to him for me.
More than 5 seasons and it’s still holding up well.
Are you on the island? I had a company south island that does seadeck quote me 7000 for an 18.5ft CC. Was going to reach out to another spot in sidney that does ultradeck instead to see.I am having seadeck installed in mine soon only because I had my boat scanned and I paid deposit already. The cost on small boat 19ft like mine is like 1800.... they install it. I assume larger yiuf in the 2k to 3k mark.
You can do it yourself depending on what your time is worth. It isn't the route for everyone but it's nice to get someone else to do it of your busy with your own work.
I heard nothing but good things on seadeck and ultradeck personally.
Copy that, thanks.I thought about going that route but once I had a look and feel of the product I decided to go the adhesive route. If I remember correctly there were less colour choices and it was thicker material that felt cheap. My wife was a quick veto when she compared the different products.
On another note, I booked my measuring right after the boat show(which I went to) and got 25% off on the product which was worth it as I knew I was going to do it. Make sure you tell them you were there
I will say. 7 to 8k is a bit pricey for a floor.
Ha me too, I was floored you could say...but im gonna do it for the new swim grid to protect my fragile feet
