JUst got back from a weekend trip. Saturday Morning we headed out to 20 mile bank. Tons of smaller fish but nothing real big. Didnt try for halibut, started to blow just as we were going to switch.
Sunday morning started at Swale but after a couple hours with only 1 in the boat and 1 lost we pulled up and headed to Effingham. That was the ticket.... Wasnt long before we were fighting many scrappy springs. 3 guys on our boat each had 2 springs in the 12 -16 pound range in no time. Most came on a white hootchie/purple flasher combo at 90 ft.
