Barkley sound in September?

I’ve fished Barkley sound many times in June, July and a couple times in the month of August, what’s the Chinook fishing like in the first couple of weeks of September?

I would best describe it as spotty. The Labour Day Derby hasn't resulted in a lot of fish in the past few years. Should be some Coho showing up around that time however.

I’ve done really well in September. We used to be seasonal at Poett Nook, and would pull out around Sept 15. Coho are usually pretty good. We made a trip out to “Rat’s Nose” and loaded the boat on salmon, Hali, and Lings too. Definitely alot quieter in September!!
