Dirty im flyin out on the 7th, things just got a bit delayed...Searun were you one of the 3 boats that were just south of pachena?

Nope, further to the northwest, but you should still be on fish off Puke Point...will be out again Sunday as long as the conditions are favorable.

Hey guys just got back from down below all weekend.....Slow fishing, fished kirby , cree and folger area's long and hard all day saturday only picking up one just over 11lbs and one in the mid teens. This morning i ran over to swale and got one which again was in the 15-20lb range. Not alot of action according to the guys fishing down there. Should pick up any time now.

Just got back from Ucluelet. Spent 3 days fishing South Bank, Long Beach, and Cree/Austin/Effingham. Got a couple of small Hali and 7 Chinook ranging between 10 and 17 lbs. All the Salmon came on Sunday within a 2 hour period in the morning. Right place at the right time apparently.

Princess boats and the guides were coming back with nothing and they we were going EVERYWHERE (Rats Nose, SW Corner, the Wreck, South Bank, Surfline, etc.). It just died over the last 4-5 days.

Monitored the VHF and there were a lot of frustrated commercial guys out there.

Having said that, it could be totally different today if a new wave of Chinook and Halibut show up.

Forgot to mention that it is DEAD out there. Nobody around. Island West marina had 2-3 boats on the dock and only a few Princess boats were going out. Most of the guide boats didn't move while we were there. Ukee was a ghost town this weekend.

Was out yesterday at the nook, very rough offshore but still managed to boat two springs off bamfield wall. All on coyotee spoons 60 - 90 feet. One boat did well at pill bringing in a thirty pounder.Im on my way out tonight and will be hali hunting in the morn.

Hey boys. Just came in from a weekend down below. Fished diplock out towards kirby saturday and landed 3 springs biggest was a 21 lb. Went to pill that night a nailed one in the high teens. This morning didnt do as well at all. Any others go out aswell??

It's on.

All the usual inshore spots were yielding some fish and offshore is starting to come on as well. All of our halis and springs from today had 5" herring in them and we marked a TON of bait out on a couple of the banks. Caught more fish on the bank without bait though... hungry I guess!

Was funny watching the pukers try to fish off Effingham yesterday in that gale. Didn't think they'd have a lot to show when they got back to the dock.

Was treated to a great porpoise show around the boat and whales everywhere today.

Gimee the gaff!!!

Was out for 5 days. fishing was great. 12 fish in the boat . BIGGEST was 29.10:D 3 others over 20. Had a great time. Back to work tomorrow.:(

swale area .Fish were caught on coyote spoons. Color did not seem to matter.

Yep, today was good also. 9 into the boat, but nothing over 18 pounds. Coyote spoons were the trick down at 120 feet trolled fast. Fish were all over, so no real hot spots. It didn't matter much where you went; Pill, Back Door, Swale, Gilbralter - all good. Talked to a few guys fishing Great Bear and they got some larger fish but it was rough.

Was up yesterday, started from poett nook saturday night at about 5 pm.Started fishing right around the corner. Was into our first spring of the trip within 15 min.64 feet army truck coyotee, not even 20 min later we had our next one on, not bad fishing i say.Styed at Bamfield and fished Kirby in the morn with about 10- 14 other boats. It seemed eveyone had action including us, with a few limits taken. Finished the day off with some offshore bottom fishing, lings and bass being the easiest to catch.
