Baitrix 4 inch Midi-Strip...

Anybody been using the Baitrix 4 inch Midi-Strip in the Midi head for a Needlefish lure?

If so...which color worked best.....and do you just let the hook free-hang close to the back end?....

Yup, small treble hangs near the tail.
Halibut like it as well as salmon.

Thats the strip color, for lack of a better way to describe it.

I'm using 30lb about 42" long.
you can't buy tiny strip anymore, and unless you cut your own
it's the next best thing.

I got bites on these around oak bay and constance, but i found that the action on those didn't work well when i used more than 20lb maxima leader, but the 20 gets sawed by the teeth more than I like. I have 25 and/or 30 maxima and trilene big game and it's too stiff to keep it rolling nicely. if you don't mind me asking, what line are you using scott?

I believe it's Maxima...

It is more about hook size and placement to make the strip roll well. Small light gauge hooks work best.
