I've been using Tapatalk for a few years on my iPhone but now I'm not happy with it. Now they have ads embedded in the middle of all threads and as I'm scrolling through the thread, if I have the misfortune of touching one of the ads that's disguised as a post as I'm scrolling, I end up going to some site I don't want. Like "singles in my area". ;-)

Has anyone found an app that works well with this forum other than tapatalk?

Here's an example... I just started this thread and voila, there's a "sponsored" ad.

It pisses me off.

I have the adds already on my tapacrap... Makes the last post of the thread an advertisement ..

I'm not getting them but I believe one of the admins will have to turn off native advertising in their tapatalk dashboard

They have to make money.
I guess.
The only and sensible solution is to stop using the product (tapatalk).
Just my opinion, but too many "instant" solutions to problems that we don't have, or where we have to adapt to some program so the developers can monetize it, or fit with the latest technology, are just pains in the asses.
Not a luddite, just an old fart trying to establish a value (to me) of technical innovations.

Sorry if this doesn't respond to above postings -- just having my own problems with advancing tech.

I find I'm touching the ads accidentally A LOT as I scroll through the threads and launching off to other sites I don't want to go to.

This is so super annoying. Please admins, if you can shut this off, do so.

My tapacrap was free and I don't get those adds. The only app I use that adds pop up on is wind alert
