Hi Kelly, iwas fishing 26 mile,14 mile,7 mile,5 mile,cape beale,kirby,robbers, diplock,the wall,just outside the nook too name a few,lots of searching it will pick up we were up there before the long weekend and had good results so it's just a lull.cheers mt.

thanks for the report MT.Buddy who is out there agreed that its very slow. Oh well im sure it will be a good time. Headin to mckay bay now

Fished Weds night, Thur, Fri, Sat morn.

Weds night lost 2 and landed 1 15# Spring on the wall.
Thurs morn lost 1 and landed 1 15# spring at Beale.
Thurs night landed 1 25# spring at Kirby.
Friday was ON FIRE. Landed 4 Springs, 1 over 30, + 3 Coho. Lost 2 more springs at the boat and several long line releases.
Saturday morn lost 1 at the boat, 1 LL release, a few small coho that went back, and 1 Coho that we kept.

Friday to Saturday, the Coho seemed to move in thick.

Inside, about 1/2 the people I spoke to got 0, and the others had 1 or 2 per day.

the unofficial winner of the bamfield derby brought in a 43 pounder twenty minutes after close.
Caught lots of crab and prawns, but you had to go to the shelf 200' to get the big one.

All day Friday on the wall.
6:30-1pm landed 5. The other 2 in the evening (coho), 4-8pm.
We could have had 10 easy if we had a bit more experience on the rods. For 2 it was the first time salmon fishing/barbless hooks.

Fished 10 hrs this weekend at 7 mile, kept 5 springs, 2 hali, 1 ling, 3 snapper, and 3 hatchery coho.

Hey Dan, nothin big, 18 lb spring, 32 lb hali, 9 lb coho were the biggest. Been out lately?
