Anchovies, case or package?

So what do you guys do for anchovies?

Do you buy individual packs?
or do you buy a case?
Is there one bait maker that is better than an other for quality and colour?
Where would one go to buy a case of anchovies?
Is there a savings in buying a case?

I am looking at buying a case, but then you do not get to inspect the bait for shape or colour.

any info would be great

Cheers

Buy them by the case at the boat show. Best deal.
I also find that the choves in the packages get smaller as the season goes on. Also have found that late season choves have not been starved the same and tend to blow out easier.
My opinion.

Tips

Just talked to a guy who will sell by the case - 40 packs for under $200. Rhys Davies 5", 5 1/4" or 5 1/2".
I'm looking to go in on some.
Who's in?

WestShore Tackle, case of {40} eight packs starved nice. $207.00 taxes in. Get them when you can as I agree later in the season there not as good. Cheers FC

Thats a really good price.

We will have cases of Herring and Anchovies for sale as well if any of you need....

Hey Gypsea. Sorry for the confusion. The case contains forty packs with eight chovie per pack. Still a good deal at just over five bucks a pack.Top notch service out at Westshore tackle, I will be supporting them heavy. Hope this helps Cheers Fc.[8D]
