I was just reading some reports and looks like the algae is back. Wasn't it later last year ? Anyone have any tips on fishing during this bloom ?

David from Predator Charters mentions it in his latest report. Vancouver Harbour all the way up to Secret Cove. Clogs lines.

F.M., I think I would need his o.k. to cut and paste but here are the highlights. March 2- Grace, Hit a 16lb. red on a flamin hans/flasher @ 175' in 185' moved to flats off dockgot 19lb. on anchovy 115' in 130' water. There are a couple of other reports from his associate but no fish. I don't even know where the flats are. There is mention of the algae for the past week. If anyone wants to get his reports you can e-mail him and he will set you up.

Yeah, the top secret page. David is a great guy and spends a lot of time on recording and plotting bite times and tides in the local waters. He does charge for the reports but for the amatures like myself this info is well worth the price.
